Winter Holidays

Carlos is on holiday for two weeks, and it's great to have him home. We don't have any big plans which suits us just fine. It'll be fun to spend the holidays just the 3 of us.

And good news: the weather is finally turning around! It's been at least 8 degrees for the past few days, and even got up to 13 on Friday. We took advantage of the nice weather yesterday to go out for a walk along the bike path that runs parallel to the canal connecting the northern and southern lakes. Hopefully the weather will stay nice like this and we'll be able to enjoy the great outdoors during the holidays. I was starting to get cabin fever when it was so cold out.

To our surprise, Aimy slept 6.5 hours straight last night! When I woke up I was sure I was reading the clock wrong. Of course she was wide awake after that... but I'm not complaining! Let's hope things continue to evolve towards a good night's sleep for Carlos and I...
