Aimy is over 5 weeks old now and growing by the day. She had her first appointment with the pediatrician on Wednesday, and now weighs more than 4kg! The doctor was impressed with her growth curve and gave her a clean bill of health. Next visit in a month for her first vaccinations... not sure I'm looking forward to that!

Carlos went back to work on Friday and it was a bit strange to only be the two of us in the house. And since someone has started having trouble sleeping for more than 10 minutes during the day unless she is being held, I didn't get much done! It'll be interesting to see how things go next week - our first full week at home alone since Aimy was born.
The weather has been cold here lately. Yesterday we had a high of 2 degrees C and an overnight low of -6. There were even a few snowflakes overnight! Most of them were gone by the time we got up this morning though. Still, the flowers Grandma bought us are somehow managing to bloom...
