December seemed to fly by this year. Before we knew it, the holidays were upon us and we were hurrying off to Pau to celebrate with Carlos's family. Aside from the usual fun times had by all unwrapping the presents and eating yummy chocolate, candy, and holiday food, Alixe surprised and shocked us all by climbing up on the couch all by herself and proceeding to stand up and jump around on it... little daredevil. And much to our amusement, she also figured out where her snacks were kept, and would go up to the fridge, bang her fist on the door and ask "Applesauce?" We left a few presents at home under our tree, and the girls were thrilled to get to open more presents, though one of them preferred to open carefully while the other was happy to tear the paper to bits... can you guess which is which?
