Understandably, I haven't been posting anything on the blog in a while. We were too busy enjoying our time in BC to get enough time online, and despite being back home for a few weeks we're still getting settled. Aimy started preschool last week and we're still trying to get used to our new schedule and dealing with the colds that have plagued us since the start of school... but that's for another entry.
I'll have to break this up into several parts to get all the pictures on here, but I thought I'd start with some photos of our first few weeks back in Beautiful British Columbia (which, if you can believe it, were much better in terms of weather than the whole summer here in the south of France. Apparently it was unseasonably cool here this summer... guess we picked a good year to travel!) We didn't do too much at first, since we (well, I was really the only one that had it draw out so long) were a bit jet lagged and were waiting for Carlos to arrive - he didn't come until July 5th, and we had arrived on June 21st. But we slowly got into a routine and had some fun times with family until we were feeling a little more like ourselves, and then our bigger adventures began!

Happy Canada Day! |
A bit of an anecdote here: it was about 2:45am France time when I snapped this photo, so I could say that though it was still July 1st in Canada, it was officially Alixe's first 1st birthday picture! Not a Canada Day Baby in France, but still one in Canada!
