We had some pretty awful weather for Carlos's winter holidays, which worked out kind of well because we had planned on starting potty training with Aimy. Our thinking was it would be easier with two of us home, one to keep an eye on each girl when necessary. It took Aimy a few days but she picked up on the peeing part with enthusiasm once I mimed her toys using the potty (and applauded and congratulated them when they did). Now she asks to go whenever she needs to, and excluding nighttime, she hasn't had an accident in quite a while. Number 2 is another story, but I'm told it takes longer for that one to sink in.
Alixe is progressing well too. By the end of the holidays she was clapping whenever she saw us clap for Aimy on the potty (which meant she was clapping pretty much all the time). She had another tooth poking through on the top by the end of that period too, with another one not too far behind. And she is very impatient at meals for the next spoonful, to the point of crying out angrily when it doesn't come fast enough.
This batch of photos is dated up until the middle of the first week of March. I have more, but I'll leave them for another entry.

Which inevitably turns into "let's grab the camera". |

Weird texture, Mum. |
But happy to be included in our breakfast! |
Aimy decided this was what she wanted to wear that day. |
Playing together! It happens more and more now. |
What the heck is she doing to my head?! |
The girls. Aimy in the carrier. Sometimes it feels like I am like this all day! |
