Aimy's Fourth Birthday

Yep, that's right - there's a 4-year-old in the house! Aimy's 4th birthday celebrations were a little odd this year, since she wasn't feeling too well on her actual birthday. We ended up spending part of the evening at the doctor's office, but she bounced back quickly and was doing much better by the first day of 2016.

I decided to put all the pictures together of her birthday celebrations, including the party I held for her in January with some of her school friends. There aren't too many photos of both days but I can tell you that Aimy was one happy girl.

Between Christmas and a Birthday...

We got back from Pau on the 27th to find that Santa had left some presents under our tree as well!

Opening presents (I love Aimy's face in
this one)

Very blurry, but another great pic

Christmas

Just like the title says - a collection of photos from Christmas Day. I didn't end up taking any pictures of our dinner on Christmas Eve, since I had a nasty cold that prevented me from doing anything except basic bodily functions. I was so congested that all of the traditional Christmas food at the family dinner on the 24th tasted like rubber, and both Alixe and I slept very poorly due to both of us having the same cold. Poor pumpkin has both chicken pox and a very runny nose in the pictures. She definitely wasn't at her best during those holidays.

As you can see, we spent the holidays with Carlos's family. The girls were spoiled rotten as usual and despite being sick they had a lot of fun.
